Between 1981 and 1986, she pursued a career in sports, participated in competitions and international tournaments in synchronized swimming. Between 1987 and 1988, she coached combined teams in synchronized swimming and the Russian national youth combined team. Since 1989 – CEO and Art Director of the “Russian Pearl Water Ballet” Show. The repertoire includes several solo programs. The company performed in a variety of countries – Turkey, Taiwan, Singapore, Greece, UAR, Spain, China, and Japan. From 1999 onward, “Russian Pearl” annually performs in the mega show of the Japanese singer Yumin Matsutoya presenting specially designed programs where Irina Potemkina directs water numbers. |
